I use camera captures and photomontage as the foundation for my paintings. My goal is to see each scene with fresh eyes and form a deep connection to it.
I often intentionally blur the line between photography and painting by using camera movement and multiple exposures to create images that don’t resemble traditional photographs. These experimental techniques become the raw material for layered works that invite the imagination and aim to surprise—even myself—with the unknown.
Each piece is completed with a final layer: a carefully chosen quote that accompanied me throughout the creative process.
